CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS

We specialise in crisis communications to protect our clients’ reputation when they are attacked in the media.

Our crisis communications experience includes the following:
  • We acted for Grey Security (now G4S) when one of their security guards was accused (and subsequently found guilty) of murdering Mrs Marike de Klerk, former wife of former President F W de Klerk.
  • We acted for the North American owners of a ship, the Sealand Express which ran aground in Table Bay Harbour.
  • We represented a beauty salon owner accused (unfairly) of racism.
  • We represented Buchanan Boyes when controversy arose as a result of accusations that they had an improper association with Cape Judge President Justice Hlope before his appointment.
  • We have assisted Table Mountain National Park, with successful media strategies to deal with the recent culling of Tahrs, the felling of pine trees on the slopes of Table Mountain and visitor safety.
  • We are contracted as strategic communication partners to Working on Fire (WoF) the government-funded wild fire fighting programme.
