My
good friend, Michelle, who is extremely beautiful, well travelled of impeccable
taste and extremely knowledgeable about theses things, says that women (and some men, apparently) listening to Michael
Buble` "slide off their seats" with pleasure.
When
I was younger, the girls used to take off their knickers and throw them on
stage, the shy ones bringing a spare pair to throw, but still. Sliding off
their seats is perhaps the 2010 version of knicker throwing.
So
there you have it. Michael is hot. Probably as hot on CD as George Clooney is
on screen
Being
a male I`d prefer Dianna Krall singing sweet nothings in my ear to Michael and
yes, I would slide off my seat for her – not to mention Linda Hamilton in
Terminator. But, be that as it may, this is Michael having fun with that sexy
voice of his doing a fine range of tunes from Julie London`s Cry Me a River to Van Morrison`s Crazy Love.
I
thought the version of Cry Me a River,
which is an extremely sad song - maybe
one of the saddest songs in the world – was a bit heavy handed but the rest
have the right touch.
So all
the single ladies will loved it and to the men out there take your lady to see George
Clooney then slip this onto the CD player when you get home: Satisfaction, according to Michelle, guaranteed.
