New heart valve will save millions

28 October 2017

HWB Communications is proud to be working with a team of dedicated heart surgeons, clinicians and medical engineers in Cape Town who have perfected a heart valve that will save millions of young lives particularly in poor third world communities across the globe. They have recently received international recognition for this new development, which comes on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the world’s first successful heart transplant in December 1967.

Thank you to the media who have already reported on the story – Times Live , Herald Live, SA Good News, and Lead SA.

Cape Talk’s John Maytham also spoke to the team’s Professor Peter Zilla about this new development – you can listen to the interview here.

We also appreciate the coverage given by The Times and Southern Suburbs Tatler in their print editions this week.
