Our media training equips clients to understand and deal professionally and successfully with the press (print, radio and television) to promote themselves or their product as well as with the flurry of often-hostile media queries that arise out of controversy.

Course candidates will feel more confident in dealing with the press, be able to promote their businesses or clients and handle crisis communication issues in the media.

The course is delivered by Evelyn John Holtzhausen CEO of HWB Communications (Pty) Ltd. Evelyn is a former Senior Assistant Editor, Night Editor and Senior Writer of the Cape Times and Sunday Times with over 25 years’ experience in journalism in South Africa, Swaziland, The United Kingdom, and Norway. He specialises in communication strategy development, crisis communication, and brand-reputation risk management for HWB clients. Evelyn’s clients include Working on Fire, Table Mountain National Park, the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), Public Investment Corporation (PIC) and Philip Morris South Africa.

Our fee for a 4-hour media-training course, with course notes and a practical application is R15 000.00 (Excl VAT) for up to 20 delegates and R1000 p/p thereafter.
